Wurlitzer Rolls Arranged by Ralph Tussing
By Dan Robinson

The posts from last month about band organ music arranged by Wurlitzer
compared to band organ music arranged by B.A.B. made me think: What
about the Wurlitzer band organ rolls arranged by Ralph Tussing?

Personally, I think that (especially on style 165 rolls) some of the
tunes on Tussing's rolls are very catchy and the arrangements are very
interesting, stuff that you usually don't hear on a band organ. Some
of the tunes on these rolls are very unlikely choices for band organ
music (Tussing made rolls all the way up to 1967). I'd be interested
to know what others think.
