Ludvig Wulff Piano
By Sue Clark

-- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hi, I just acquired an upright antique piano, maker "Ludvig Wulff".
I have not been able to find out anything about it. It has symbols
of awards on it that talk of the King of Denmark (Christian IX).

I had a tuner come out to look it over and he said that it was
manufactured in the mid to later 1800s. It is made of burled walnut
and is in great shape. It used to have two sconces on it. They
were not on it when I purchased it.

I would like to find out something about it if anyone there knows.
I looked up Ludwig and Co. but their pianos started in 1890s with a
10,000 serial number. Mine has a serial number of 1260, 'way earlier!
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Sue Clark
