Mike Meddings recently wrote to MMD that he had contacted J. Lawrence
Cook's surviving children, and one of them had in their possession some
hand written scores, written by the old piano roll master himself.

If the proper permissions could be obtained, these original scores
could be easily transcribed to MIDI, and then to player piano rolls.
This would be a project that I personally think would be very
worthwhile.

It would be wonderful to hear some of Jean's unpublished music, and
with today's computers and the like, it is very possible, and quite
desirable.  Just a thought.
