Is the Piano Sustain Pedal Needed?
By Spencer Chase

- A piano without a sustain pedal is perfectly adequate for
most modern uses.

 - It takes up the same amount of space in the "music" room.

 - It supports plants, flower arrangements and art pieces
as well as does a piano with a sustain pedal.

 - It impresses friends and acquaintances as well as a piano
with a sustain pedal, unless you attempt to get it to make music.

It is only in this regard that it fails miserably.
