HTML Control & AT&T Email Program
By Mike Knudsen

About HTML mailing or not -- I got another update from my friend who
ditched AOL for their arrogant attitude. He switched to AT&T, another
ISP with a proprietary browser. But the AT&T address book file lets
you turn the HTML option on or off independently for _each_ address in
your book! Thus you could enable HTML for your up-to-date buddies, and
turn it off for mailing lists and folks with non-computer mail-station
devices, etc.

This is not a free plug for AT&T (though I used to work for them and
own some of their stock), but rather another feature to inquire about
when choosing an email system. Another useful address book feature
would be to tag recipients as able or not to receive attachment files,
e.g., the MMD.
