Paper Shrinkage in Recut Music Rolls
By Bruce Clark

I have noticed that some recent recut music rolls on dry waxed paper
have diminished in width.

At first they were perfect, but as the artificial heat of winter dried
them, they began to shrink so that the perforations do not line up with
the tracker bar holes. I thought if I placed them into an unheated
slightly damp area they might expand again. However, so far they have
remained the same. Has anyone else experienced this?
