Seek Pump and Motor for Stoddard Ampico
By Bruce Newman

I have recently acquired an early Chickering Stoddard Ampico that has
had the original pump and motor replaced with a suction box. If anyone
has a spare pump or knows where one might be obtained, please let me
know.

One other part is missing as well that may be quite difficult to find
but I'll mention it anyway. Apparently the Stoddard Ampico had a
mechanism located in the drawer to the right of the spool box that
allowed the user to play and repeat certain passages of the roll by
tightening knobs on some type of screw shaft that would engage the
reroll/replay mechanism for the desired musical passage. If anyone
has this part or a junk drawer with this part intact, drop me a line.

Thanks!

Bruce Newman
