Piano Top Is Not For Knick-Knacks Either
By Bruce Clark

Back in the 1960's, when I was doing a lot of piano repair and tuning,
I had a customer who had a spinet piano with a set of knickknack shelves
built on top of the piano. There must have been four or five shelves!

It was a factory-built attachment to the piano! Everything had to be
removed from this curio cabinet before the piano could be tuned.
