Seek Music Roll Transport Frame for Scanner
By Ray Finch

Hi MMD'ers, I'm looking at making a roll scanner to scan 88-note and
65-note rolls to convert to MIDI, etc. I'm sure several of you have
an extra 88- or 65-note (10-tune) roll frame that is collecting dust.

What I'm looking for is something that has the tracker bar, upper and
lower spools, and perhaps the transmission for rewind (although this
may not be necessary as I plan to use an electric motor to drive the
unit). Obviously this doesn't need to be a complete or perfect unit
as it will be modified for roll scanning.

If anyone has a roll frame that they would like to get rid of please
let me know. Also if anyone has any comments about roll scanning in
general I would also be very interested in hearing about your
experiences.

As per previous requests, I live in the USA in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Thanks in advance,
Ray Finch
