Adding Foot Pedal Exhausters to Duo-Art Grand
By Bernt Damm

Hi Doug and group. If it does not say 'Duo-Art', it isn't one.
Even the half Duo-Art pianos I have seen say 'Duo-Art' on the fall
board. It may be that someone tried to convert it to a Duo-Art.

Some of the late Aeolian pianolas I have seen actually had a Duo-Art
tracker bar installed but the holes are not used. I am not sure if
you know what a proper Duo-Art expression box looks like but it
should be one box with two regulators. There are two picture of
the British upright box up on my web site at the moment. See:
http://home.mweb.co.za/be/bernied/Duo_Art.html

Is that what you have? Can we see some pictures perhaps?

It seems that this piano was somehow converted at some stage.

Kind regards,
Bernt Damm
