Player Action Date vs. Piano Date
By Bob Stewart

Has anyone ever looked into the date stamped on the Ampico parts and
the piano manufactured date shown in the Pierce Piano Atlas (mine is
the 6th edition)? My Ampico parts are stamped 11/29 and, according to
the Piano Atlas, the piano is a 1932. All parts appear to be original
to the piano. Any theory's or research out there on this? Could it
have sat for two years before being installed and sold?
