Added Value of Ampichron

Just wondered what the opinion of the forum is about adding the
Ampichron system to an original model 1929 Chickering Ampico B is.
Would it increase value or would it really be an addition -- costly,
and at the same time defacing an original piano?  Thanks for your
opinions,
