"De Prinsenstad" Dutch Street Organ in USA
By Bert Eradus

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

To any who is interested I send this reply in my case of searching
for "De Prinsenstad", asked by Philip Jamison [MMDigest 96.11.02].
It is a late reply but I didn't see the question sooner.

In the MMD I found a question about "De Prinsenstad" organ. I can tell
you all about it if there is someone interested; in that time I helped
the Tegelaar family with the organ on the street in Delft.

It isn't true that the organ was sold to New Zealand. It was sold to
the USA in June 1966. I know the whole story because the organ still
is my most favourite.

The organ still is in the USA and I know the owner very well, so if
someone wants more information please let me know.
