I'm no expert (and I didn't play one on TV either) but I have a Knabe
Autopiano 88-note player in which I recovered the roll motor and
tracking pneumatics with yellow Polylon, using hot hide glue, and it
worked perfectly. I recovered those pneumatics in 1996, and the glue
still holds well. For the record, I know that "they" say that the
hot hide glue will not stick to Polylon, but has anyone else tried it?
It worked for me!

Bob Loesch, in beautiful Lake County, California, USA
