Knoebels Amusement Resort, Elysburg, PA
By Keith Taylor

Bob Ebert is correct, but I have to disagree with his assessment that
Knoebel's can be appreciated in only half a day. A full day is not
enough to enjoy the many organs, hand carved wooden carousels, steam
trains, home made food and free museums -- I think it would take at
least a full week to scratch the surface of such a fun place!

Even though I now live too far away to get there regularly, I have only
to listen to the cassette tapes of their band organs to be transported
back to that beautiful part of Pennsylvania.

Where else can you sit under a tree, eating some home made food,
sniffing the odor of soft coal smoke coming from the stack of a
miniature locomotive while listening to the music of a Wurlitzer
Band Organ?!

Sincerely, Keith Taylor - Knoebel's fan!
