Mechanical Music Collection in Copenhagen
By Peter Frodemo

Greetings all! About 25 years ago, my school class went on a trip
to Copenhagen, Denmark. Apart from the most obvious places you go to,
we went to a museum where quite a large collection of mechanical music
machines was displayed, from the smallest monkey organ up to big fair
organs. I was wondering if anyone knows anything of it. I haven't
managed to find anything on the 'Net.

The memories are beginning to fade, but I still can feel the
exhilaration in my bones when I think of a beautiful beast with piano,
bass, drums, brass instruments and three violins playing an old ragtime
piece.

I realize this is a long shot, but I have to ask now. The sun in
Sweden is doing strange things to my mind, and when nights are hot,
many things pop up in the head while trying to sleep.

All the best,
Peter Frodemo
Sweden
