Duo-Art Artist Freddie Rich
By Benjamin Intartaglia

Hello, I recently discovered another Duo-Art piano roll artist,
Freddie Rich, who cut several beautiful and interesting arrangements
for the Duo-Art piano roll company. I know that he's been a jazz
orchestra leader, too.

I think that Rich was renowned for his orchestra arrangements and
recordings rather than a real pianist, like the well-known Vincent
Lopez who cut several rolls for Ampico. As with Lopez, it's not
certain that Rich really recorded and edited his piano rolls recordings
-- maybe he simply rented out his name. In my opinion Rich's rolls are
a piano reduction of his orchestra arrangement.

My question is, could somebody tell me when was he born and died?

Thanks in advance for your help.
