Source of Rubber Cement - Leather Cement
By D. L. Bullock

You will have trouble finding rubber cement. I don't know what Elmer's
is selling as rubber cement, but I know some makers have discontinued
its manufacture. This is because desktop publishing no longer requires
you to cut and paste up a camera ready copy of a page to be printed.

However, there is one field that still uses the same rubber cement.
I have a national leather supply company here in St. Louis and they
sell a squeeze bottle or a gallon of rubber cement for gluing leather.
It may be called leather cement. It seems to be exactly the same as
Carter's. You may have a catalog for S&T Leather if you do leathercraft.
It is in there. They also have thinner which you will need to thin the
cement to half strength to soak into pouches better.
