Power Supply for Pipe Organ Magnet Valves
By Jim Crank

In the blower room, or sometimes in the relay room, of every old pipe
organ that I ever saw or worked on, there was a big knife switch to
reverse the polarity. Give it a switch once in a while and the problem
of magnetized armatures never occurred.
