I got a shipment of PPCo purple pneumatic cloth a couple of weeks ago
and returned it for the same reason.  I reordered from Schaff instead.

The cloth Schaff sent me worked fine.  Also, it is black on one side
and very nice rich red on the other.  I have never really cared for the
color that PPCo uses.  It does not age well in my opinion.

I have talked to Mike Madeira of Leather Supply House and he has told
me that he will be carrying motor cloth and other pneumatic cloths soon
in a couple more colors, mainly green.
