The Pleasure of Restoring Antiques
By Ingmar Krause

Hello all,

[ 11 old player pianos were offered in 040123 MMDigest: ]

> Might you be interested in them? They are available for the taking.

I know how it is like with the market and how much effort these
would need. Still, whenever I see an offer like that, I wish that
someone would come along, takes them, repair them and gives at least
one working piano back to the donor. Not with promising it, but
with one day showing up and surprising them, saying, "Here! If your
husband/father/... would have been alive, this would be the result."

Just my 2 cents...
