Seek Cutting Wheels for Musical Box Comb
By Phil Procter

I am looking for some slitting wheels which are very thin, they need
to be about 5" diameter and in the region of 0.012" to 0.024" thick,
and be capable of cutting hardened and tempered 3/32-inch thick steel
gauge plate. I think some sort of resin bonded or diamond grinding
wheel will be needed, as opposed to a conventional HSS or Carbide
slitting saw.

These are to be used primarily for making new comb teeth during the
restoration work on antique musical boxes. I know these are available
because a friend has some but does not know where they came from.
Any help in finding a supplier (preferably UK based but not essential)
would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Phil Procter
