Ampico Expression Mechanism Tubing Diagram
By Eliyahu Shahar

Mr. Asborno asked about tubing the upright Ampico. My 1923 grand has
the expression the same on both sides with the exception of an
additional tube that comes out to go to the Ampico cutoff valve feed.

My strongest recommendation is for you to get a tubing chart.
I believe that you can get one easily on eBay, or from Player Piano
Supply Co., or from John Tuttle's Player Care web site. For the few
dollars that you spend, you'll save a lot of questions and headaches
in re-routing and wondering "what the heck is this thing supposed to be
connected to." Order two of them and use one as a reference, mark up
the other with what you've completed.
