Carousels at Euclid Beach Park, Cleveland
By Mark Kinsler

Does anyone know what might have happened to the merry-go-rounds
that once lived at Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland, Ohio? (That's
what they were called in Cleveland in the 1950's.)

There were two, I believe: one was a small one that lived under
a shelter for the little kids, but which had a very nice real organ.
The other was a big job outside that had 'jumping' horses. I don't
recall the organ on the large carousel, but I'm pretty sure that
there wasn't a brass ring device on it.

I was a devotee of Euclid Beach as a kid, and I suspect that if
anything survived from the place, it would have been the merry-go-rounds.
I'm just being nostalgic.

Mark Kinsler -- who really liked the Dodge'em better.
