Piano Roll Rental Library
By Ed Kigler

I recently saw some 88-note piano rolls that were from a rental
library circa 1914. Apparently, just as Blockbuster does with
videos today, you could rent the newest tunes and play them at home.

What was the cost? A penny a day per roll.
