Unknown Musical Box Tunes
By Hauke Marxsen

Dear MMD readers, I will write an article for the German journal
"Das Mechanische Musikinstrument" about a seldom seen musical box
movement. I want to find out what songs are on the cylinder.
If you have time and appetite to find out, please activate the
following link:

  http://www.marxsen.de/song.html

There are two parts, each per half-rotation of the cylinder. Do you
know anything about it? How are they named? Which time/decade was
that music in?

There are some notes with strong faults, because some dampers are
broken or out of order. Try to pretend not to hear the faults.

Thank you very much and kind regards,
Hauke Marxsen
Germany

[ I think I hear "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and "Valencia".
