I have a Philipps Pianella Model C fitted with a 5-roll changer, no. 35.
The instrument, no. 9363, was sold in the European market, the labels
being in German. However, the take-up spool is below the reel, the
paper moving from top to bottom. Does this mean it is not a Philipps
changer? It looks as though it was not retro-fitted as the electrical
conduits carrying wiring to it are identical to those in the rest of
the instrument.

I am intrigued by this device as it seems to be a departure from the
norm, being also fitted with a roll selection system!
