Tuning Scale for Polyphon
By Hans Krook

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Thank you everybody for your kind help! It's fantastic there are so
many helpful unknown "self-playing" friends all over the world.

I got four scales today, now when I see that all of them are the same
I really can be sure it is the right scale!

Thankful greetings from Sweden

[ Caution, Hans: the scale simply gives the name of the note (the
[ tine) plucked by the disc. The fundamental frequency (Hz) of the
[ vibrating tine is often very different from the "Equal Temperament
[ Tuning" scale normally applied to a piano, etc. That's because
[ each musical box has a unique personality and unique "stretching"
[ of the overtones. See the MMD articles "Musical Box Tuning Schemes"
