Seek Repair of Wurlitzer 1203 Player Piano
By Dieter Kutz

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

My wife and I bought a Wurlitzer 1203 and are having problems with it.
First the pump stopped; we replaced that. Then it began to smoke --
uh-oh! Tracked down the smoke to the panel that holds the switches to
turn the machine on and off. Called a local repair guy, he stated that
the parts are no longer made for the piano, and are long gone. If we
wanted he could get us a rebuilt control panel for $2300!

Is there anyway to get parts to repair this thing? I believe it's the
large silver capacitor in the panel that is smoking, since it's pretty
hot when running. Any ideas?

Thanks,
