Faux Wood Finish
By Jim Quashnock

I am going to be restoring a street barrel piano with a faux mahogany
finish. I have at least a dozen wood working supply catalogs. Can you
believe that I cannot find anything for this type of finish? I know
supplies used to be available.

Any suggestions on where to find graining tools and necessary supplies?
The instrument was made in Spain around 1920. Suggestions, please, on
the proper finish: varnish, shellac, etc.

Thank you,
Jim Quashnock
