Krakauer Red Welte Upright Reproducing Piano
By Joshua Rapier

I recently purchased a Krakauer Red Welte upright and was curious to
know how many other Krakauer Weltes there are along with the other
American-made Red Welte pianos. I know that Mike Kukral has one also,
basically identical to mine, and the Nethercutt collection [Merle
Norman Museum "San Sylmar"] in Sylmar, Calif., supposedly has one in
the collection. I have yet to verify that. I found two signatures of
someone dated 2-11-10 Freiburg on the back of the spoolbox.

I am also interested in Red T-100 rolls.
