Restoring a Celestina Organette
By Henk Boelmans Kranenburg

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hello, I am the new owner of a Celestina organ. Somewhere it leaks
air and I have to open it. I removed all the screws and the inside
is now loose, standing in the housing, but there is still the handle.
The spindle on that handle has a pin that drives the main axle forward,
or drives the pulley backward for the rewind function. That pin has
to be removed to loosen the handle. But how?

It looks like it is somewhat conical but it doesn't move. I don't
see any screw-thread on it but perhaps I am wrong. But there must be
a solution to remove the pin, otherwise the organ does not come out of
the case.

Is there anybody who can help me with resolving this problem? If
necessary I can make some pictures.

Best regards,
Henk Boelmans Kranenburg
