Converting Vacuum Pump to Pressure Pump
By Carl Dodrill

Colleagues, Have any of you ever tried using a player piano vacuum
pump as a blower? I need 10" of static wind with fairly low CFM to
run an Aeolian harp in a church pipe organ installation. I can find
blowers that will do this, but they are all big: 1 to 2 hp.

This only needs 1/4 hp or less (probably less), but it does need 10"
of static wind. I would also like to be able to adjust the speed of
the motor with a rheostat. Thank you, in advance, for any help you
can offer.
