Deagan Chimes Striker Voltage
By Bill McGown

I have a set of Deagan electrically operated chimes that had a previous
owner had set up to be played from a keyboard with an on-board power
supply. Fortunately, the chimes survived Katrina's flood waters (about
18 inches deep in my shop), but the keyboard & power supply did not. :-(

I think that I remember measuring the voltage that drove the solenoids
as being 90 VAC but I am not sure that memory is correct. Does anyone
know what voltage is used to drive the solenoids, or does anyone have
a chime set that they could check to see what voltage is being used?

Many thanks in advance.
