Seek Bellcrank for Wurlitzer Duplex Frame
By Doug Hershberger

Many years ago I broke the speed regulator bellcrank on the duplex
tracker frame in my Wurlitzer 153. Has anyone got one of these in
their junk box? Apparently they came in two lengths, the organ uses
a shorter version, part reference number 96TD. I got one from Doyle
Lane many years ago which was too long so I simply made a substitute.

Has anyone ever wished for the convenience of "Fast Fwd" on their
duplex tracker? The "Select" feature found on photoplayers and such
was much more elaborate than simply a fast-forward. Evidently "Select"
was rarely supplied on band organs although a few years ago at
Deansboro I did see a 153 which was so equipped. The Care & Operation
card tacked inside my 153 explains the use of "Select" although this
machine was not equipped.
