FS: H.C. Bay Player Piano in Chicago
By Joseph Russo

My family purchased a new H.C. Bey player piano in 1928. I rebuilt
the pneumatics 30 years ago. The strings and hammers are original.
The piano is generally worn out but still plays well during humid
weather using the pedals. The finish is crackled on this instrument.
Lots of rolls (200); some were actually purchased new in the 1920s by
my grandfather.

I am planning on selling the apartment building where the piano is
stored. It is in a heated basement four steps below grade in the north
side of Chicago, Illinois. Lots of memories are connected to this
instrument. [snip]

Thanks!
