Reproduco Tempo Adjustment
By Jack M. Conway

Hi Group, The tempo adjustment on a 2-manual 4-rank Unified Reproduco
organ, no piano, is accomplished by double-sheave pulleys on the roll
drive motor and roll frame. With the drive belt in one position the
organ plays slowly. Moving the belt to the second position makes the
organ play deathly slow!

To get other speeds it would be necessary to find different size pulley
pairs.

[ Computed initial speeds, found by measuring the take-up spool
 [ circumference and revolutions per minute, are (1) 5.625 ft/min =
 [ "Tempo 56"; (2) 3.375 ft/min = "Tempo 34".
