Seek Parts for Nelson-Wiggen Nickelodeon
By Mike Walter

Hi all, I am in the process of restoring (trying to restore)
a Style 2 Nelson-Wiggen nickelodeon. It is proving to be a slight
challenge finding the missing parts.

I am in need of many above-the-keybed items. These items include
a wood frame spoolbox, a funky air motor with square pneumatics
(from what I have seen in photos), a transmission that connects the
air motor to the spoolbox, a Nelson-Wiggen designed mandolin rail, an
original pipe chest, wood violin pipes, and a lid lock. I have had
offers of some substitute parts for which I am extremely grateful. It
would be better, though, to have original parts, if they are available.

If you have any lonely Nelson-Wiggen parts for a Style 2 instrument,
please let me know. I know the piano would greatly appreciate being
put back together with all its original pieces (sort of like Humpty
Dumpty).
