Hello -- Many thanks to those who responded about ways to amplify the
output of a music box.  The "resonant board" idea really appeals to my
low-tech mind and it's in keeping with the mechanics of these boxes.

I'm also looking for a simple end table in local thrift stores that
might nicely serve the purpose, while supporting the box.
