Given Name of SM Pianist Romaine
By John Phillips

I've just acquired a German SM 88-note roll played by an artist whose
family name is Romaine. At least that's how his signature, reproduced
on the roll label, seems to read. But his first name is a mystery to
me. It may start with a "V", but it could be a "U." Can anyone help
me out?
