Loesch Orchestrion Data
By Jack M. Conway

Hi Group, Several Loesch roll scales are listed in "Treasures Of
Mechanical Music." I would need more information from the roll labels
to be able choose one. The following are listed:

- Loesch Angelus Roll and Loesch Reproducta Roll, 35 cm wide,
  2 holes per cm

- Loesch Orchestrion Roll, 43 cm wide, 2 holes per cm

- Loesch Orchestrion Roll, 11-1/4" wide, 9 holes to the inch

- Loesch Model 1, Titania II Roll, no size given

- Loesch Violin Piano, 35 cm wide, 2 holes per cm

If you can get access to a copy of "Treasures Of Mechanical Music" by
Reblitz and Bowers, you will find the scales on pages 218 and 220 and
pictures of two Loesch Orchestrions on page 119.
