For Sale: I have a 1901 Franklin Company Victorian Upright piano. Great
looking piece! The sound board is in great shape, the felts are good, and all but the
last 6 low strings are still in tune! The sound board has been signed by Jung on the
following dates: 5/6/12, 6/29/16, 8/8/18 & 7/8/19. From what I can ascertain this is
the same Jung that owned a professional piano tuning and restoration shop around the

Free Duoart player piano from around 1972. Consol size, walnut color I
think. or medium colonial brown maybe. It has to go right away, we couldn't sell it
in time. It works as a piano. As a player piano the sound is weak because of air
leakage. It is electric and foot pump. Great and fun way to get exercise. Finish is
acceptable. You may have all of the rolls and we have many, most of them are QRS or
something like that. We live in Easton, Pa. 610-253-613two STEVE owner anxious. -- (Posted 25 January 12)

For Sale: 1923 Chickering baby grand, Ampico model A reproducing piano,
the Centennial Grand model, of which there were only 100 made. Serial 136644. It is
original unrestored (read into that - reproducing mechanism needs a full rebuild and
hammer action needs some attention as well). Blonde finish 98% clean, full ivory

For Sale: This is a rare 1927 Steinway OR Duo-Art 6'5" reproducing grand
piano in exceptional condition with it's original pearl white ivories. The reproducer
mechanism was restored 10 years ago and has been maintained ever since. Jack spent over
$10,000 restoring the player. The piano was restrung, with new hammers, shanks & flanges,
bushings, pins, new dampers, regulated, soundboard refinished, guilded plate, regulated,
etc eight years ago.
This piano was owned by Jack Riffle, who was the treasurer for 30 years of
the Mechanical Musical Instrument Guild. When Jack died he had 11 player grand pianos
and over 5000 dead mint rolls in his collection, plus a few player organs and music
boxes. This piano he left to his granddaughter as it was the best one in his collection.
She is getting married and needs the funds to start her new life. I am helping her sell
the piano.
This piano plays magnificently, everything works and comes with 55 of the
best Duo-Art rolls his daughter picked out from the collection. It was refinished about
10 years ago and has some light sun bleaching on the long side. It is a mahogany finish.
From Jack's love of Steinway players, he brought this one back to great
condition at no small expense. As a piano, it plays smoothly and feels like butter with
a warm rich tone. Please email for pictures or video footage. $25,000. Email Spencer at: sbrewer@pacific.net

For Sale: Steinway Duo-Art player grand piano..6 ft in length. The piano
has been owned by my family since 1973. At the time of its purchase, the piano was
rebuilt with new strings, hammers, the keyboard recovered, and the case which originally
was a dark red mahogany was refinished in a light brown mahogany, satin finish. The
player was also rebuilt at that time by a Mr. Valerio. We were told that the piano was
originally bought as a birthday present by a Mr. MCLaughlin for his wife in 1923.
McLAughlin owned one of the largest hat factories in Danbury, Conn at that time. The
piano is in good condition. The player while operable will need some attention as it
has been in storage in an environmentally controlled storage space for 1 year. The
instrument is currently located in Danbury, Conn. For more info., please contact

For Sale: 1906 Melville Clark Apollo Push Up Piano Player - Completely
Original and believed to be in working condition (It was working perfectly when placed
in storage). This is an extremely rare instrument featuring a birdseye maple tracker
bar which can be adjusted to modulate the key of the music to accommodate the voice
range of vocalists. The machine was purchased in April 1906 from Melville Clark in
Chicago and shipped to Mackinac Island, Michigan where it was used in the dining room
of the Windsor Hotel until 1937. It was then covered and stored until 1973 when I
removed it from the building and cleaned it up. I used it for several years, but had
to store it when I moved to Tennessee. It needs to be seen, played and appreciated!

For Sale: Player piano, probably cherry wood, a little rough on the
outside, but the wood is lovely. It has been stripped at least once.
It has an Auto Play mechanism. The engraved number is 93554. We are
located in Mid Missouri. We haven't a great deal of money in the
project (it came from an auction in Columbia, MO). We'd like to recoup
the money that we have invested, but we're interested in seeing it go
to someone who appreciates it and can restore it or hire someone who
can restore it. That's about all the information I have, but I'd be
glad to try to answer any questions about it. Buyer assumes all
responsibility for packing and moving. Thanks so much. barb.green0910@sbcglobal.net -- (Posted 12 August 11)
For Sale: We have an Aeolian Hammond player organ Model B-A #9168. It has
been in the family since the late 1950's. It has a Leslie model 21H speaker
with it. It has been in the same house all that time. We have to move it
and would prefer to sell it and have it moved at the same time to avoid
multiple moves. There is a box of numbered black wooden blocks of various
lengths that we think were used in the shipping of the organ to Arkansas
City, KS.
We also have 153 Duo-Art Music semi-automatic organ rolls.
They are all in the original boxes. The rolls in the boxes I have opened
all look in very good shape. They could be sold with the organ or
separately. Contact acks.mbc84@rocketmail.com -- (Posted 25 July 11)
For Sale: We have had this player piano in our family for decades, but
are now moving to a smaller house and do not have space for it in the new location. This
is a very good working condition 1917 Pianista player piano (Serial # 120054) with
approximately 30 player rolls. The piano functions as both a regular piano, as well as
a auto-player piano. Finish still has a nice luster. The included bench has a few
scratches on it, but the piano cabinet itself is in excellent condition given its 94
year age! I have uploaded pictures for viewing, as well as a video in two formats showing
the piano in action for you to see at the links listed below. Asking Price $2400 obo.
The piano needs to be tuned, and I have a local contact that can do it for you for
about $120. We are moving in approximately a week, and while we are willing to take the
piano with us, we would prefer to see it just moved once to a new home. Please call
Eight One Three - Nine Six Seven - Sixteen Thirty Five to arrange to see the piano.
Local sales strongly preferred. No Checks / Money orders, etc. Seller will not personally
ship the piano, but will coordinate with the buyer if they wish to hire a local mover
and coordinate their own transportation. Links to view pictures & video: http://www.box.net/shared/y47tlrjb6odg7fs9xjvv -- (Posted 25 July 11)

part needs to be removed to replace those. 2 keys ‘stick’ and of course it needs to

vacuum box was added, but it is now missing. The original wind motor has likewise
been replaced with a modern electric motor. There are several dozen rolls with the
piano, mostly of newer vintage QRS brand. While most of the rolls are playable, a
large majority of them have suffered water damage. This piano and rolls are located
in a basement, and is being offered free to anyone who would be able to remove it. Located in Baltimore, MD. -- (Posted 16 June 11)

For Sale: This 1927 Gulbransen player piano was professionally restored
by my godfather, George Jennings of Jennings Pianos in Spokane, Washington, where
we purchased it in 1987. It has been beautifully maintained, well-loved, and regularly
played. The piano has beautiful tone when keys are played or pedals are pumped.
Over the years, this piano has provided hours of entertainment, but we're looking for
a new home where it will be loved and played. The piano comes with 70+ rolls and a
cabinet. Please contact me at krnbllngtn@aol.com
with any questions. -- (Posted 6 June 11)
For Sale: I have an 1889 Aeolian 1450/1500 I believe it is. It was the
flagship 46 note player organ model. This one has the “Aeolian Organ and Music Company”
decal under the lid so its an earlier one. I brought it back from Texas and it is
really rough, but restorable in my opinion. It will take a lot of work. It had lots
of mud wasps that need their nests cleaned out. No bees left, of course. For someone
willing to put in the time, it is something worth saving. I am offering it for $150
cash which is what I have in it. First come, first served. This includes two of the
original Aeolian 46 note rolls in excellent condition that I’ll send with it. Those
2 are worth $60 -$80 by themselves. The reeds and parts are worth what I am asking.
That’s why I bought it. It has the original air motor and governor which are often
missing. I could do the restoration, but I don’t have time for it anymore.
If you need pictures, email me at: smccaskill@kc.rr.com.
The organ is located in Gladstone , Missouri 64119. Stuart McCaskill 816-452-0948.
We can help load it and I can arrange for shipping from Kansas City if you need that. -- (Posted 6 June 11)

For Sale: I have a Rare Farrand Cecilian 65 Note Push Up Piano Player
from the early 1900's for sale. It is in very nice, almost Original condition. There
are not many of these left in playing condition. The pneumatics and pumps have been
rebuilt, and new tubing installed. The sustain mechanism is intact and in working
condition. This player plays very well for it's age. I no longer have the piano to
play it with. 200 65 Note Rolls are included. $1,200 Call Rich (626) 824-4404 NO TEXTS!

For Sale: Time to thin the herd. I have too many pianos. This Very
RARE 65/88 Note 1909 A B Chase Artistano 6'3" Grand Foot Pump Player Piano is up for
sale in So. Cal. The bench is included, although probably not the original. This piano
has had the entire pneumatic system rebuilt (by P O), and the string, pins, soundboard,
and plate done recently. It has the original ivory keys and are in almost perfect
condition with the only exception being a small chip in the center key top from
flapping roll tab. The case is in very nice original condition with the lid being the
only exception, as it has had the clear coat refinished. The piano has a wonderful
rich tone, and a powerful deep base. The player does play, but it takes a lot of
effort. The previous owner had a suction box attached in order to make it play. This
piano was featured at the International AMICA Convention in Los Angeles Ca in 2008.
The plate has been signed by Hi Babit after he played it (by hand) for a while. I got
the player to work pretty good then, but does not play that well now, as it may have
a leak somewhere. The pneumatic system in this instrument is quite complicated and
needs an expert to get it playing to it's full potential. There are only a few of this
model (65/88 note) still in existence. $5,500 Please call Rich for an appointment or
email rollguyrich@yahoo.com for photos.

For Sale: Wurlitzer “Strad” 10 instrument nickelodeon/orchestrion. Has
Piano, Snare Drum, Bass Drum/Tympani, Bells/Glockenspiel, Tambourine, Triangle, Wood
Block, Pipes (metal Violin/Cello as well as wood), crash cymbal, and ride cymbal. Plays
Coinola "O-Roll" nickelodeon / orchestrion rolls. It appears as if all of the strings,
hammers, dampers, and tuning pins have been replaced and the case has been refinished.
The stained glass is in very good condition but several of the smaller pieces of dark
glass have some cracks. The tubing is in excellent condition and is very flexible -
not brittle. All of the instrument valves are wooden Wurlitzer valves. Many of the
tubes/hoses have paper hang tag labels with writing on them indicating what it goes
to. There is an electric blower and an electric vacuum box next to the pipe chest at
the bottom of the unit. There is a coin mechanism that is set up to accept quarters.
The nickelodeon lights up 2 bulbs and plays when the coin is dropped in the slot. It
comes with one roll. The nickelodeon sounds great, but some of the pipes are out of
tune. It appears to need some adjustment as the roll does not always stop between
songs, and the tambourine and triangle are not working properly. The automatic re-roll
is not working, but you can press a pneumatic and it re-rolls the roll. Asking $7,995.

For Sale: A very old, upright Wurlitzer player piano with an artistic
face. The piano itself works fine with a good tuning. The inner mechanics need
refurbished. These interior mechanics have a patented label of May 30, 1899 & March 5,
1907 Cincinnati, OH. The wood is in good condition. The keys are in fair
condition. The faux stain glass face is in fair shape as there is one small piece
broken and missing. I say “faux” stain glass as the material is not actually glass,
but a plastic like material designed in multi-colored segments similar to stain glass.
The scene is of a sail boat. The coin slot is present but does not activate the self
play function. The piano is located in Montgomery County, KY off Interstate 64 between
Winchester and Morehead. To schedule a visit to see the piano please call
513-312-9375. Make an offer which includes safe removal and transport of piano. -- (Posted 24 April 11)
