Anglo American Player Roll Co., Melbourne, Australia by John Phillips Broadway was just about a one-man operation, based in Melbourne and owned by Len Luscombe, who recorded many of the rolls. It was bought out by Mastertouch in 1957. Although not up to U.S. standards, in my opinion most Broadway rolls are a lot snappier than Mastertouch rolls. Broadway (courtesy John Phillips)

firm is thought to be a forerunner of Broadway.
